V12 MukGuard Reusable Overshoes
The Why!
I'm frequently working indoors and it isn't always practical or safe to work without appropriate footwear.
I use to use the thin plastic overshoes, but got fed up of
- them falling to pieces
- not knowing which was the inside/outside
- and sliding off whilst working
The first time I saw these was actually when a Gas Safe engineer came round to service the boiler. So I made a note and got myself a pair.
So what's in the box?
A pair of Reusable overshoes and a carabiner to hang them on.

First Impressions
Having already seen them in the flesh I knew what to expect. On opening the parcel and giving them a quick inspection I found them well made with no loose stiches and the carabiner was an added bonus.
Day to day use
The rear loop is a really useful feature that allows me to pull them on and off, even with gloves on.
They are constructed from Neoprene with a nylon backer and the base has an anti-slip grip, which proves effective in a damp tiled areas.
Customers consistently respond positively to these, noting the professional appearance they offer.
In certain cultures, it is customary to remove outdoor footwear, and I have found wearing these over my boots has been well received.
Quite a few of my customers have enquired about these as they are seen as far more environmentally friendly than the disposable ones.
I have two pairs. For two reasons, one so I have a spare when the other is in the wash and secondly I sometimes forget I have them on and walk outside in them!

Conclusion
- For Tradespeople it gives a very professional image
- Better for the Environment as an alternative to disposable ones.
- Better grip than disposable ones
- Easy to put on and take off
- Comes with a handy carabiner to keep them together.
- Sizing can be varied.
Sizing
It's worth noting that between buying my first and second pair the design/manufacture changed, as did, it would appear, the sizing.
On both occasions I bought size 9/10, the earlier pair fit a bit tight but I thought, that's fine they'll settle, and they did. The second, newer version, are slightly over sized but not a disaster and do not fall off.
